Road Bike Hire in Morzine: Ride a Pinarello on Your Alpine Cycling Holiday

Bringing your own bike to the Alps means a bike box, airline fees and a nervous wait at baggage reclaim in Geneva. Hiring from a shop usually means collecting the bike on arrival day so you're ready for the first ride. On our Morzine weeks there's a simpler option: a Pinarello F5 from our own fleet, set up for you and waiting at the chalet.

Here's what you get, how to book it, and what to do if our fleet is already taken.

Why Hire a Road Bike in Morzine?

Travelling with your own bike isn't always the easiest choice—especially when you factor in airline baggage fees, risk of damage, and the inconvenience of transportation. Renting a bike directly in Morzine offers multiple advantages:

  • No bike box to pack, carry or pay the airline for

  • No risk of damage in transit

  • A carbon race bike with electronic shifting, built for long climbs and fast descents

  • Our guides ride Pinarellos too, so they know the bikes inside out if anything needs adjusting on the road

  • Bottle cages

  • Computer mount

  • Sized from the height you give us on your pre-arrival form

Price

£295 for the full week. Hire is by the week only, and it's an optional extra rather than part of your holiday price.

Fancy Greater Comfort?

Our Pinarello Grevil F5 gravel bikes, with SRAM Rival AXS, are also available on Morzine weeks for riders who want to explore off the tarmac. Sizes 470, 500, 530 and 550.

How to Book Your Pinarello Hire

  1. Book your place on one of our Morzine weeks.

  2. Add Pinarello hire from our shop.

  3. Choose your size and pedal setup.

  4. Book early. The fleet is small and goes on a first come, first served basis.

Bringing Your Own Bike Instead?

Plenty of guests do, and your bike box travels with you on the airport transfer from Geneva. For the Morzine climbs, we'd recommend a compact 50-34 chainset with an 11-34 cassette, which gives you a 1:1 bottom gear. Your knees will thank you on the Joux Plane.

If Our Fleet Is Booked: Torico Morzine

Our fleet is small and our road bikes come in four sizes. If we're fully booked for your week, or your size isn't in our range, we recommend Torico Morzine. They've looked after our guests for years, and they run a well-maintained fleet of carbon road bikes with Shimano Di2, including the Factor O2, Scott Addict and Merida Scultura.

Book with them directly at toricomorzine.com. Shop hire usually starts on your arrival day, so you're set up and ready for the first morning's ride.
