Rental Bike: Slipstream Adventures X Elves MORI AeroX
Bike Rental - Ready When You Arrive
This is the bike you’ll be riding for the week.
Available to rent for the full duration of your Slipstream Adventures holiday, it will be fully set up and waiting for you when you arrive, and ready for every ride through to your final day.
No bike boxes, no travel stress, no rebuilding or adjusting after a flight. Just turn up, get fitted, and ride.
We’ve built this specifically for our trips. A bike that feels fast, comfortable, and completely at home whether you’re climbing in the Alps or rolling through Tuscan gravel.
The Slipstream Bike
We’ve always believed the bike you ride shapes the whole experience of the week.
This is why we’ve built something properly special for our guests. A bike that feels fast from the first pedal stroke, comfortable over long days in the saddle, and capable of handling everything we throw at it, whether that’s smooth Alpine tarmac or rolling Tuscan gravel.
Built on the Elves MORI AeroX carbon frameset in our Slipstream colourway, this is a bike that looks as good as it rides. Clean, understated, and designed to feel quick.
But more importantly, it’s a bike that works everywhere.
One Bike. Two Setups.
We run the same bike across all of our trips, but with two distinct setups depending on where you’re riding.
Morzine – Road Setup
Fitted with 30mm tyres, this becomes a fast, responsive road bike. Stable on descents, efficient on climbs, and comfortable enough for long days in the mountains.
Tuscany – Gravel Setup
Switched to 45mm tyres, the same bike transforms into something completely different. Smooth over the white roads, confident on rougher sections, and still quick when the pace lifts on the flat.
It’s not a compromise. It’s a bike that genuinely excels in both environments.
Built to Ride, Not Just Look Good
At the heart of the bike is a SRAM Apex AXS 1x12 electronic groupset, giving you simple, reliable shifting with no fuss.
We’ve paired this with a 40T chainring and 10–44 cassette, which gives you the range you need for both Alpine climbs and rolling gravel terrain, while still maintaining good top end speed.
Dialled In
Every bike is set up before you arrive so you can get straight out riding.
Frame size: 49 (recommended for 163–173cm / 5ft 3”- 5ft 7” )
Cockpit: 90 x 380mm flared integrated cockpit
Crank options: 160m or 170mm, depending on your preference
Pedals: SPD or SPD-SL included, or bring your own
Saddle: We’ll fit one as standard, but if you have a saddle you love, bring it and we’ll install it for you
The goal is simple. You arrive, your bike is ready, and it feels right from the first ride.
Why This Bike?
Because it matches what we do.
You’re not here for a short spin or a café ride. You’re here for long days, big climbs, new terrain, and a week that builds as it goes on.
You need a bike that’s:
Fast enough to feel exciting
Comfortable enough for back-to-back rides
Versatile enough to handle anything
This does all three.
The Feel
It rides like a race bike, but without the harshness.
Direct when you push on the pedals. Stable when the road drops away. Smooth enough that you’re still enjoying it three hours in.
And in Tuscany, it comes alive in a different way. Floating over gravel, carrying speed effortlessly, and making those rolling roads feel exactly how they should.
A Better Week on the Bike
Most people don’t travel with their own bike.
And even if they do, it’s rarely set up for both road and gravel in the same way.
This takes that stress away completely.
You arrive.
Your bike is ready.
And you spend the week riding something that’s been chosen specifically for the trip you’re on.
