Your easiest gear on the F5 is a 34 x 34. That's a one-to-one, and it's the gear you'll be grateful for halfway up the Joux Plane.
It's the same gearing we recommend to anyone bringing their own bike to a road week, because on long Alpine climbs it's the difference between grinding and spinning. You'll have it without having to think about it.
